Kimberley Land Council and the Australian National University support research into renewable energy development in Aboriginal communities

Early this year CAEPR collaborated with the Aurora Foundation and the Kimberley Land Council  to enable Aurora Intern, Ganur Maynard, to work with both CAEPR and the Kimberley Land Council on the relationship between native title and renewable energy. Ganur graduated  with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales in 2019 and was  keen to  develop work he had undertaken on this topic as part of his degree.  This work is contributing to CAEPR's role in the Zero-Carbon Energy for Asia-Pacific Project, one of ANU's Grand Challenges.
